The zero and double zero are not counted in the outside bets and a player losses his bet if the ball lands on either of these two. For outside bets a player can bet on red or black color which means that he will win if the ball drops in the chosen color. This type of bet pays 1 is to 1. Then there is even/ odd bet which is the winning number will either be even or odd. Here also, the payout is 1:1. Another type is Low/ high bet. If the ball falls in lower range that is from 1 to 18 the winner is one who bet on the lower range. The higher range is from 19 to 36. The payout is 1: 1. A player can bet on any three long columns. There are three columns on the layout table consisting of 12 numbers each. This bet pays you 2 to 1. You can bet on the dozens that is first dozen (1-12), second dozen (13- 24) and third dozen (25-36). The payout here is 2 is to 1. All roulette tables have minimum and maximum bets.
